Overview
We are seeking a caring and attentive individual to fulfill the role of Child in our childcare environment. This position involves engaging with young children, supporting their developmental needs, and creating a safe, nurturing space for learning and growth. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a daycare setting and a genuine passion for working with children. This paid position offers an opportunity to contribute positively to children's early development while gaining valuable experience in childcare.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive supervision and care for children in a safe and nurturing environment
• Support children's emotional, social, and physical development through engaging activities
• Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, and nap times
• Foster positive interactions and communication with children to promote their well-being
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the childcare setting
• Collaborate with team members to plan and implement age-appropriate activities
• Observe and document children's progress and behavior for ongoing developmental support

Experience

• Prior experience working in a daycare or childcare setting is preferred
• Strong understanding of child development principles
• Ability to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for children of various ages
• Excellent communication skills and patience when working with young children
• Demonstrated ability to follow safety protocols and maintain professionalism in a childcare environment

Pay: $26.21 - $31.56 per hour
