Child Practitioner

Squids Out of School Care Service is looking for a Child Practitioner to join our dedicated team.

A relevant childcare qualification such as an SVQ 3 (SCQF Level 7) in Social Services (Children and Young People) or equivalent is preferred but not essential, as you will be able to gain this qualification through employment to meet the requirements set out by the Scottish Social Services Council. Hourly rate will be dependant on experience and candidates age (NMW age brackets will be used as a guide for this).

With this in mind, successful candidates are expected to undergo a full PVG check, and register with the Scottish Social Services Council. Costs for these are covered by the employer.
