About the Position

We are seeking an enthusiastic, caring, and reliable Educator to join our dedicated and supportive team at our small, family, friendly 45-place early learning centre. You will have the opportunity to work in a supportive team, helping to create a nurturing and safe environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

At our centre, we place a strong focus on building trusting relationships with children and their families, while upholding the highest standards of child safety and wellbeing in line with our Child Protection Policy.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality education and care in a play-based learning environment.
• Build and maintain positive, supportive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Promote and protect the safety, rights, and wellbeing of every child, reporting any concerns in accordance with child protection regulations.
• Work collaboratively with a passionate and professional team.
• Contribute to programming, documentation, and daily reflections.
• Support children’s individual needs in a calm, responsive, and respectful manner.

About You (The Applicant)

Must Have:

• A genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to their learning, safety, and wellbeing.
• A strong understanding of child protection principles and a willingness to uphold a child-safe culture.
• A positive work ethic and ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team.
• A valid Working with Children Check.
• An ACECQA-recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education (or actively working towards one).

Would Be Nice to Have:

• Previous experience in the Early Childhood Education sector.
• Experience in programming, observations, and maintaining daily journals.
