Welltrack Junior Academy is a full day care service that is open 5 days per week and is based in South Dublin.

Job description

Experienced crèche manager required for our established service.

Duties & Responsibilities:

To perform a multitude of tasks.

To follow the policies and procedures of the service at all times

To Co-ordinate the implementation of educational activities suitable for different age groups.

To ensure the health and safety of children at all times.

To ensure a good standard of hygiene.

To maintain the staff roster and training schedule.

To Co-ordinate supervision of staff.

To Co-ordinate food orders/deliveries etc.

To complete weekly audits of the service and report to the operations managers in respect of this.

To complete monthly audits of the service.

To review and organise materials and toys to the benefit of children.

To Support children’s developments – emotional, social, physical and cognitive in carrying out activities.

To provide weekly team meetings and complete further training as required.

To be the designated child protection officer of the service.

To maintain the confidentiality of all are clients and staff.

To Perform other reasonable and relevant duties as may be assigned from time to time

Person Specifications

Minimum FETAC Level 8 in Childcare/Education or other management role.
Minimum 5 years work experience as a manager.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Kindness, warmth and responsiveness to the needs of children.
Good Communication and Relating Skills with children, staff and parents.
Have a sense of humour.

Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.

Occupational First Aid

FAR training

Complete Garda Vetting

Child Protection training

Fire safety

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Permanent

Pay: €22.00-€25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45.0 per week
