Childcare Practitioner

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Childcare Practitioner to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality childcare by engaging children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social development.
• Supervise children at all times, ensuring their safety and well-being in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Develop and implement daily routines, lesson plans, and educational activities aligned with early childhood education principles.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and external stakeholders to foster a collaborative environment.
• Manage classroom behavior positively, encouraging good manners, cooperation, and emotional regulation.
• Lead by example in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for children and staff alike.
• Support the professional development of team members through mentorship and sharing best practices.

Experience

• Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood education setting.
• Knowledge of childcare regulations, health & safety standards, and best practices in early childhood development.
• Excellent communication skills in English to interact clearly with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Experience in nursery settings or similar environments is highly desirable.

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Expected hours: 30.5 per week
