Childcare Practitioner Level 3

This position is to start as soon as possible. Start date is negotiable to the right person. The role is a part-time position with hours of 16-20hrs per week initially.

Hours will be between 7.30am - 6pm Mon-Fri (3-4 days a week) approx. 4-6.5 hours a day

To assist team in organising learning and play activities for the children. Help support team during lunch and snack times. Adhering to all EYFS statutory guidelines. Supporting children in their play and during care routines. Set up play / educational activities set out by the team to enhance children's learning in a supportive and nurturing manner. Help maintain nursery cleaning standards and H&S guidelines and to keep the nursery environment and resources safe, clean and organised. Support with communication to parents and visitors. Maintain records including accident forms, child development documentation and daily diaries on the Tapestry system. Must be professional at all times. Must be able to work in a small team and use own initiative.

Candidate MUST hold at least a level 3 NVQ in childcare or equivalent.

Candidate MUST have at least 1 years experience in a similar role within a nursery setting.

Candidate must have a 'can-do' attitude and be professional at all times.

Paediatric first aid is an advantage. DBS certificate also an advantage (update service)

A Drivers License is preferred but not essential.

Pay: £12.58-£13.08 per hour
