Childcare Provider

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of all ages. In this role, you will support children's developmental needs through attentive caregiving, educational activities, and positive behavior management. Responsibilities

• Provide attentive care for children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs
• Ensure the safety of children by maintaining a clean, hazard-free environment and adhering to safety protocols such as first aid procedures
• Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and implementing behavior management strategies
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children's progress, needs, and any concerns
• Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and transitions between activities

Requirements

• Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or classroom environments is preferred
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices is preferred
• Certification in first aid and CPR required but training can be arranged
• Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively and foster a positive learning environment
• Strong communication skills to engage with children, parents, and team members clearly and professionally
• Patience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for caregiving and teaching young children
• Familiarity with childcare safety standards or the desire to learn is essential.

Work hours are between Monday and Friday. Looking for both full time staff and afternoon staff who can work 12-6, 1-6 or 3-6. Candidate must submit to and pass a background check in addition to a fingerprint background check, if applicable. Three non-family references are required.
