Childminder Assistant

I am looking for a friendly and caring Childminding Assistant to join my happy, home-based childcare setting. In this role you will be helping to look after young children and ensuring they stay safe and happy throughout the day. Your daily responsibilities will include helping to lead fun activities like arts, crafts, and games, supervising the eating of healthy snacks and meals, and supporting children through their nap times and regular daily routines. You will also help maintain a neat, clean, and organized environment where children can freely play and learn.

Prior childcare experience is desired but full training is provided for the right person. What I value most is a person who truly loves working with young children and possesses a warm, patient and kind personality. You should have good communication skills and excellent spoken English (a second language is a bonus) and a positive attitude. Please note that the successful candidate will need a clean background check (DBS) or be willing to undergo one before starting, full paediatric first aid, and level 2 in food safety.

Happy to offer an apprenticeship for the right person to gain their level 3 in early childhood education and lots more training opportunities.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
