Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social development
• Support children's daily routines, including meal times, naps, playtime, and educational activities
• Ensure a safe and clean environment by maintaining hygiene standards and monitoring children’s safety at all times
• Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and daily experiences
• Assist with transportation duties if required, including driving children to activities or appointments
• Foster positive relationships with children to encourage confidence, independence, and emotional well-being
• Collaborate with team members to plan and implement developmental programs that cater to diverse needs

Skills

• Proven ability to provide attentive childcare with patience and enthusiasm
• Strong knowledge of child development principles and age-specific activities
• Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in French is a plus for bilingual environments
• Valid driving license with experience in safe transportation of children (nice-to-have)
• Experience in teaching, nannying, or similar roles that involve caring for young children
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a lively setting
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and diverse needs of children and families
