Children's Dance Instructor

Pay: $25-30/hour | Hours: Varies by your availability | Locations: East Providence, Johnston, Tiverton, Portsmouth, RI, other locations throughout RI and South Eastern MA as we expand.

3-8 hours per week

Kindermotion brings movement, dance, and basic gymnastics to children ages 2-8 on location in local schools and community centers. We match our class schedules to YOUR available hours—morning or afternoon blocks that work around your student schedule, shift work, part-time job, or parenting. If you have teaching experience and want to work in diverse community settings, we'd love to have you. The ideal candidate will have a background in dance, a love of kids, be engaging, patient and reliable.

Availability: Varies by location

Must have at least one year of Dance or tumblngi teaching experience

Experience with children ages Preschool - 2nd grade is a plus with demonstrated ability to lead and manage a class

What You'll Do:

Lead 30-45 minute creative movement classes using our curriculum and lessons. Build positive relationships with school partners and families. Share your love of movement with young children.

• Has teaching experience with young children (preschool, dance, gymnastics, sports, camp, etc.)—current or past
• Availability to commit to consistent weekly classes through the school year, around your other commitments
• Reliable transportation between school locations
• Genuine love for working with kids
• Brings genuine energy, passion, and a little magic to the classroom
• Is engaging, patient, and reliably shows up
