Children's Story Writer (Early Language Learning App)

Mylo Inc. builds Mylo Speech Buddy, an award-winning, Filipino-built edtech platform backed by the DOST and recognized by the Stevie Awards. Designed for early language learning, the app helps children build everyday vocabulary through engaging, animated read-along stories.

At the heart of Mylo is a simple story: Noah, a child, teaches Mylo—a rabbit who cannot speak—how to say everyday words. As the story unfolds, children are invited to lend their own voices, turning language learning into an interactive and playful experience.

As our Children's Story Writer, you will:

• Write 3–5 short story episodes per week from our 110-episode slate into finished, read-aloud-ready scripts (narration, dialogue, scene directions)
• Follow our established story structure and word curriculum (full training provided)
• Write level-appropriate language with warmth, gentle humor, and read-aloud rhythm
• Revise based on editorial review and real family engagement data
• (Plus) Help design our upcoming Tagalog story library.

Requirements:

• Writing samples for young children — published, school, or personal work all accepted; samples matter more than credentials.
• Strong read-aloud rhythm and a warm, gentle voice
• Ability to write within structure: word lists, page counts, story beats
• Fluent English; Tagalog fluency is a strong advantage
• Shortlisted candidates complete a paid writing test
