Chimney Technician

Job Summary

Duties

• Perform a range of home improvement services, including chimney work, decks, painting, gutters, roofs, siding, masonry, and leak repair.
• Train and work with training technicians.
• Coordinate job tasks, ensuring quality work, and maintaining safety standards on-site.
• Be prepared for jobs that may require overnight stays in different locations; some jobs involve one or two-night stays in, with accommodations paid for by the company.
• Take responsibility for your own growth and development as we grow and develop with you as a company.
• Maintain a professional attitude and ensure customer satisfaction throughout each project.

Experience

• Experience must be proven.
• A willingness to adapt to various tasks is essential.
• Must have no fear of heights and be comfortable working at elevated heights on ladders or roofs.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and motivation to provide quality work.

Tasks
Anyone applying for this position should be able to do 90% of the following and the rest should be learned:
lift 80lbs, good with heights, repointing brick, cap replacement, flashing replacement, how to take measurements, basics on how a chimney works, be in the elements for 8 plus hours a day 5-7 days a week, able to travel out of state regularly for over night jobs, masonry, rebuilding decks.

Pay rate can go up a lot, is based on performance and knowledge. Pay rate listed is starting rate.
