Chimney Technician

Clean Air Pros is hiring a chimney technician to serve homeowners across Tampa Bay.

What you'll do

• Sweep and deep-clean chimneys and fireplaces: flue, smoke chamber, firebox

• Remove creosote buildup, clear bird nests, install animal guards

• Perform chimney inspections and explain what you found in plain language

• Inspect gas fireplaces: pilot assembly, thermocouple, logs and glass

• Install chimney caps, plus waterproofing, crown, and tuckpointing work

• Photograph before and after on every job

• Put drop cloths down and leave no soot behind. The house should be cleaner than you found it.

• Work across Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco counties

What we're looking for

• Comfortable on ladders and roofs. That's daily work here.

• Reliable, on time, and presentable. You're in someone's home.

• Able to explain a problem without overselling it

• Valid Florida driver's license and a clean driving record

• Chimney or fireplace experience preferred. If you come from roofing, HVAC, or duct cleaning and you're comfortable on a roof, we'd still like to hear from you.

Pay

• $20–$25 per hour, depending on experience
