Job Summary:
The Commis 1 – Chinese Chef is responsible for assisting in the preparation and cooking of Chinese dishes while maintaining food quality, hygiene, consistency, and presentation standards. The role involves supporting senior chefs in daily kitchen operations and ensuring smooth food production during service.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare Chinese dishes according to standard recipes and specifications.
• Assist with mise en place, including cutting, chopping, slicing, marinating, and preparation of sauces.
• Prepare ingredients for dishes such as noodles, fried rice, soups, stir-fries, and Chinese gravies.
• Maintain proper taste, texture, portion size, and presentation of dishes.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as wok burners, fryers, steamers, and other cooking equipment safely.
• Follow instructions from the Chef de Partie and senior kitchen staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Check the quality and freshness of ingredients before preparation.
• Store and label food items properly and follow FIFO procedures.
• Control food wastage and use ingredients efficiently.
• Assist during busy service periods and maintain timely food production.
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and utensils after use.
• Follow all hotel/restaurant policies and health and safety procedures.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
