CHINESE COOK

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook Chinese dishes according to the company’s recipes and standards.
• Ensure food quality, taste, presentation, and consistency.
• Prepare ingredients such as meat, seafood, vegetables, sauces, and seasonings.
• Handle cooking methods including stir-frying, steaming, deep-frying, braising, and boiling.
• Ensure all food is prepared and served according to the required timing.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and cooking equipment.
• Check the freshness and quality of ingredients before use.
• Monitor food portions and minimize food wastage.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.
• Assist with stock checking and inform the supervisor of shortages.
• Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Perform other kitchen duties assigned by the Head Chef or management.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Chinese Cook or in a similar position.
• Good knowledge of Chinese cuisine and cooking techniques.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Good hygiene, discipline, and time management.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
