Chinese Interpreter

About the role

This role provides communication support between the Taiwanese Assistant Production Planning Manager and various employees and departments within the company. Responsibilities include Chinese - Thai interpreting and translation, coordinating, tracking information, and supporting production planning to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient operations.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a Chinese - Thai and Thai - Chinese interpreter between the Assistant Production Planning Manager and relevant staff and departments in daily meetings, production planning meetings, and joint meetings with various departments
• Facilitate communication between Taiwanese management and staff in the production area and support departments
• Explain and convey instructions, policies, goals, and work guidelines from management to employees
• Follow up on issues arising from communication and coordination to ensure that information between both parties is accurate and consistent
• Provide Chinese - Thai and Thai - Chinese document translation services, including reports, emails, meeting documents, work procedures, and documents related to production planning
• Prepare bilingual documents or information to support the work of the Assistant Production Planning Manager
• Translate and organize production and planning data to ensure accuracy and ease of understanding
• Prepare and record meeting minutes, and follow up on assigned action items
• Support the Assistant Production Planning Manager in gathering information related to production plans and coordinate with production, warehousing, purchasing, quality, engineering, and other relevant departments
• Track production status against production plans, monitor production issues or delays, and support the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly reports for the production planning department

About you

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Chinese Language, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Management, or related fields
• Communicate well in Mandarin Chinese and Thai, both in speaking, listening, reading, and writing
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Possess skills in data collection, data analysis, and report writing
• Possess skills in coordination and follow-up
• Able to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Meticulous, responsible, and highly confidential of company information
• Basic knowledge of Production Planning / Production Control and understanding of the manufacturing process in a factory
• Able to create and analyze data in Excel and prepare reports and presentations
