Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Chinese Language Trainer specializing in Mandarin to deliver structured language training to students, fresh graduates, and working professionals. The ideal candidate should be able to teach Mandarin pronunciation, Pinyin, Chinese characters, grammar, reading, writing, listening, and speaking, including preparation for HSK examinations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging online or classroom-based Mandarin Chinese training sessions.
• Teach Pinyin, tones, vocabulary, grammar, Chinese characters, and sentence structures.
• Develop learners' listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
• Prepare students for HSK examinations at Levels 1–4, according to expertise.
• Create lesson plans, presentations, worksheets, assignments, and practice tests.
• Conduct interactive conversations, role-plays, and practical language exercises.
• Assess student performance and provide regular feedback.
• Teach Chinese communication for education, employment, travel, and professional settings.
• Introduce learners to Chinese culture and workplace communication etiquette.
• Conduct revision and doubt-clearing sessions.
• Maintain attendance, assessment records, and learner progress reports.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Mandarin Chinese.
• Good knowledge of Pinyin, tones, pronunciation, Chinese characters, and grammar.
• Ability to explain Mandarin concepts clearly in English; Tamil is an advantage.
• Strong communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
• Ability to prepare structured learning materials and assessments.
• Comfortable conducting online classes through video conferencing platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

• HSK Level 4 or above preferred, depending on the level taught.
• Degree, diploma, or certification in Chinese or Mandarin language is an advantage.
• Previous experience teaching Mandarin to beginners and intermediate learners.
• Experience preparing students for HSK examinations.
• Knowledge of Chinese culture and professional communication is desirable.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline preferred.
• Degree or diploma in Chinese language is an advantage.
• Relevant Mandarin language certifications preferred.
