Chinese Language Instructors (Onsite)

The instructors will be responsible for delivering engaging, structured, and practical language training to enrolled students throughout the three-month program. The ideal candidates should have strong command of their respective language, effective teaching skills, and the ability to maintain an interactive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver Chinese or Japanese language classes according to the approved curriculum and training schedule.

• Conduct classes *5 days a week for approximately 3.5 hours per day*.

• Develop and deliver engaging lessons covering speaking, listening, reading, writing, vocabulary, and grammar.

• Encourage practical communication and conversational language skills among students.

• Prepare lesson plans, classroom activities, exercises, and assessments.

• Monitor student attendance, participation, progress, and learning outcomes.

• Conduct quizzes, assignments, assessments, and other evaluations as required.

• Maintain proper academic and training documentation in accordance with ShellShift and NAVTTC requirements.

• Provide additional guidance and support to students who require assistance.

• Maintain professional classroom discipline and create an inclusive learning environment.

• Coordinate with ShellShift's academic and project management teams regarding student progress and program requirements.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in *Chinese (Mandarin)* or *Japanese* language.

• Relevant language certification, diploma, degree, or equivalent qualification will be preferred.

• Previous experience teaching Chinese or Japanese is highly desirable.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.

• Ability to teach students at beginner and/or intermediate levels.

• Ability to deliver structured and interactive classroom-based training.

• Commitment to completing the full *three-month project duration*.

• Candidates with previous experience working on *NAVTTC or similar government-funded training programs* will be preferred.
