Chinese Speaking Officer – IT Department

About the role

This role serves as a Chinese language officer within the IT Department, acting as an interpreter and communicator between Thai and Chinese employees. You will translate and communicate IT-related information between Chinese and Thai, coordinate between the IT department and relevant units, particularly when communicating with Chinese teams, and support meetings, training, and internal IT department communications.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a Chinese interpreter between Thai and Chinese employees within the IT department

• Translate and communicate IT information from Chinese to Thai and from Thai to Chinese

• Coordinate between the IT department and various relevant units, especially when communicating with Chinese teams

• Assist in translating documents, manuals, reports, and IT-related information

• Support meetings, training, and communications within the IT department

• Coordinate and follow up on IT work between Thai and Chinese teams

• Support document and general coordination work for the IT department

• Perform other assigned tasks

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Chinese Language, Business Chinese, IT, Computer Science, or related field
• Proficient in Chinese languages (speaking, listening, reading, and writing)
• Basic understanding of computer systems, software, hardware, network, or IT systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer programs
• Skills in coordination, communication, and problem-solving
• Able to work well with both Chinese and Thai colleagues
• Responsible, quick learner, and able to work under pressure
• English language ability considered a plus
• Chinese interpretation or IT department coordination experience considered a plus
• HSK Level 4 certification or above considered a plus
