Chinese Translator

Key Responsibilities

• Translate verbal communication between Chinese management and local employees during meetings, discussions, and daily operations.
• Translate documents, emails, reports, instructions, and other business-related materials from Chinese to English/Urdu and vice versa.
• Support the China team in communicating effectively with local staff and management.
• Assist in meetings by providing real-time interpretation when required.
• Ensure that translated information accurately reflects the original meaning, tone, and context.
• Coordinate with different departments to facilitate smooth communication and avoid misunderstandings.
• Handle confidential business information with professionalism and discretion.
• Assist with communication between the China team and local operational teams.
• Provide translation support for training sessions, operational instructions, and company policies when required.
• Perform any other translation or communication-related tasks assigned by management.

Requirements

• HSK Level 4 or above is preferred/required.
• Strong proficiency in Chinese and English; Urdu proficiency will be an added advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous experience as a Chinese Translator, Interpreter, or in a similar role.
• Ability to translate accurately under pressure and within deadlines.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Good understanding of professional/business terminology.
• Ability to work effectively with both Chinese and Pakistani teams.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is preferred.
• Islamabad-based candidates will be preferred.
• Experience working with Chinese management or Chinese companies.
• Experience in the fintech, financial services, call center/BPO, or operations industry will be an advantage.

Pay: Rs120,000.00 - Rs160,000.00 per month
