Chinese Translator

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide real-time interpretation during meetings, technical discussions, and site visits between Chinese and local staff.
• Translate technical documents, manuals, reports, and production-related materials from Chinese to Arabic/English and vice versa.
• Support Chinese engineers and specialists during production, maintenance, and quality activities to ensure correct understanding of procedures.
• Accompany Chinese staff during factory operations to assist in communication with local employees.
• Review translated materials for accuracy, tone, and consistency, ensuring they align with the company’s standards.
• Support HR and administrative teams in translating employee communications, training materials, and policy documents when needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive company information.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure translated content meets operational deadlines.
• Assist in cross-cultural communication and help build strong collaboration between Chinese and Egyptian teams.

QHSE Responsibilities

Full compliance with current QHSE policies and standards is a specific responsibility of every employee. These responsibilities which are not be delegated, include:

• Protection and improvement of Occupational Health, Safety, Environment and security of self and others around at all times.
• Elimination of Quality non-conformances and HSE accidents and incidents.
• Ensuring consistent and continuous compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, standards and protocols.
• Creation of safe work environment, managing risks and reduction of exposure to liability.
• Actively supporting relevant levels of management in implementing Corrective and Risk mitigation actions.

Qualification & Education:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Language, Translation, or related field.
• Years of Experience: 2–3 years of experience as a translator/interpreter, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments.
