Chinese Voice Data Contributor - AI Voice Project (Remote)

About the role

Ebit Co., Ltd. is looking for native-level Chinese speakers to participate in Project Voice, a global AI voice data initiative focused on developing next-generation AI speech and voice models.

In this project, you will create high-quality conversational and emotional voice recordings based on real-life scenarios and provided scripts. Your recordings will help AI systems better understand natural speech patterns, emotions, and human communication styles.

Both Simplified and Traditional Chinese speakers are welcome to apply.

This is a fully remote, freelance opportunity with flexible working hours.
Previous voice acting experience is not required.

What you'll be doing

• Record Chinese voice samples based on provided scripts and scenarios
• Express different emotions naturally, such as happiness, excitement, surprise, frustration, and sadness
• Perform natural conversational reactions, tones, and speaking styles
• Follow English-language project guidelines and recording instructions
• Produce clear, high-quality recordings in a quiet and stable environment
• Complete assigned recording tasks consistently according to project quality standards
• Some tasks may optionally include video or facial-expression recordings

What we're looking for

• Native-level fluency in Chinese with natural pronunciation
• Basic English reading ability to understand project instructions
• Ability to speak clearly and naturally in different conversational situations
• Comfortable expressing a range of emotions through your voice
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow guidelines accurately
• Access to a quiet recording environment
• Stable internet connection
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Preferred Skills
The following experience is helpful but not required:

• Voice acting or voice recording experience
• Previous participation in AI voice, speech, or data collection projects
• Experience creating content for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, streaming platforms, or similar channels
• Strong communication and emotional-expression skills
