Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with the check-in process using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
• Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration rate, and temperature to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Prepare patients for chiropractic examinations by explaining procedures, positioning them appropriately, and ensuring comfort throughout visits.
• Assist chiropractors during adjustments and therapeutic procedures, including applying modalities or supportive devices as directed.
• Manage medical documentation accurately, including recording patient histories, updating medical records, and coding diagnoses with ICD (International Classification of Diseases) codes.
• Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and maintaining organized medical records in compliance with privacy regulations.
• Perform basic clinical tasks like phlebotomy (blood draws), medication administration under supervision, and assisting with X-ray procedures when necessary.

Requirements

• Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR/EHR systems) and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) management for efficient data entry and retrieval preferred.
• Strong patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically while managing multiple priorities effectively.
