Maximum Wellness Chiropractic is growing, and we're looking for a motivated, personable, and dependable Chiropractic Assistant to join our team!

For over a decade, we've proudly served the Wimberley community, helping patients heal, prevent injuries, and perform at their best. As a locally owned, husband-and-wife chiropractic practice voted Best of Wimberley for 10 consecutive years, we take pride in providing exceptional patient care in a welcoming, energetic, and team-oriented environment.

This is a hybrid clinical and administrative position, ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with patients while also keeping the daily operations of a busy healthcare office running smoothly.

No two days look exactly alike, and we're looking for someone who enjoys that variety!

What You'll Do

Patient Care & Treatment Team

• Assist chiropractors with patient flow and treatment room preparation.
• Guide patients through prescribed therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation activities under provider supervision.
• Assist with therapeutic modalities, including electrical stimulation and spinal decompression, as permitted by training and applicable requirements.
• Prepare and maintain treatment areas, equipment, and supplies.
• Document patient treatments accurately in electronic health records.
• Provide clear, friendly instructions to patients throughout their visits.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment.

Front Desk & Patient Coordination

• Greet patients and create a welcoming, professional first impression.
• Answer incoming calls, respond to patient inquiries, and schedule appointments.
• Manage patient check-in, check-out, and daily scheduling needs.
• Collect payments, verify patient information, and assist with insurance-related administrative tasks.
• Maintain accurate patient records and follow HIPAA guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with providers, teammates, and patients.
• Support daily office operations and administrative tasks as needed.

• Willingness to support both clinical and front desk responsibilities as needed.

Preferred but Not Required

• Previous experience in chiropractic, physical therapy, rehabilitation, or a medical office.
• Experience with patient scheduling, insurance verification, or payment collection.
• Familiarity with ChiroTouch or similar healthcare software.

Healthcare experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person!

Physical Requirements

This position requires an active workday, including prolonged standing, walking, bending, and assisting with equipment setup and patient positioning. Candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
