Chiropractic Practice Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist chiropractors with patient care and treatment plans.
• Manage and maintain accurate medical records, including some coding
• Schedule patient appointments and follow up on cancellations or rescheduling.
• Provide excellent patient service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic environment.
• Utilize eClinicalWorks software for patient management and record keeping.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Chiropractic Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical records management, including some coding (ICD-9, ICD-10).
• Strong patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
• Knowledge of eClinicalWorks or similar electronic health record systems is desirable.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A background as receptionist or in a hospital setting may be beneficial.
• Must be organized, reliable, and able to work collaboratively within a team.
