What This Is

Rotoris is an Indian luxury watch brand, founded in 2026, with $3M in seed funding, an F1 grid presence, and a content operation that runs at the standard of the world's best watch brands — not most Indian ones.

This is not a social media video role. You will not be shooting product flats or making reels with trending audio. You will be making films. Short ones, sometimes. But films.

You'll work directly under the Senior Cinematographer. You'll shoot, operate, light, and in some cases edit. You'll be given real creative responsibility — and held to a real creative standard.

What You'll Actually Do

Operate as a second camera on shoots

Handle lighting setups — build them from scratch, not from a template

Shoot B-roll that has a point of view, not just coverage

Edit selects and rough cuts when needed

Contribute to concept development — if you have a good idea, say it

Show up prepared. Every time.

What We're Looking For

The work first.

Your reel needs to show:

Controlled, intentional exposure — not just "cinematic"

Lighting you built, not lighting you found

At least one piece of documentary or non-scripted work

Evidence you know what a scene is, not just a shot

The profile.

You think in sequences, not individual shots

You're comfortable with silence — on set and in the work

You don't need to be told what good looks like. You already know.

You operate camera like you own it

You can take direction without needing it explained twice

Technical floor (non-negotiable):

Proficient on mirrorless (Sony / Nikon preferred)

Understands log profiles, exposure for grade, and color science — not just "shoot log"

Can light a controlled interior with two to four sources and make it feel real

DaVinci Resolve or Premiere — at least one, properly

An internship with a title

A place to build your basics

A stepping stone you coast through

The right role if you shoot everything and have opinions about nothing
