CIP Operator

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate CIP systems for cleaning and sanitizing tanks, pipelines, processing equipment, and product-contact surfaces.
• Monitor CIP parameters such as temperature, time, flow, pressure, and chemical concentration as per SOP.
• Ensure proper chemical handling, equipment hygiene, GMP, and food safety standards.
• Maintain CIP records, cleaning checklists, and report any deviations or equipment issues.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to ensure effective cleaning and timely equipment readiness.

Qualification

• ITI / Diploma / 12th Standard – preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, Food Processing, or related discipline.
• Food processing / dairy / beverage / coconut processing experience preferred.

Experience

2–5 years of experience in CIP operations in Food, Dairy, Beverage, Coconut Processing, or FMCG manufacturing is preferred.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of CIP systems and cleaning procedures.
• Basic understanding of pumps, valves, pipelines and process equipment.
• Understanding of chemical handling and sanitation.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs.
• Basic knowledge of GMP, HACCP and food safety.
• Good observation and troubleshooting skills.
• Accurate documentation and record keeping.
• Ability to work in shifts
