What they need

Next Level Pipe Lining is looking for a reliable, hardworking Field Technician to join our growing team in the trenchless pipe rehabilitation industry. This is an entry-level position with full training provided. You’ll work alongside experienced technicians learning how to inspect, repair, and rehabilitate underground sewer and stormwater pipelines using modern trenchless, no-dig technology.

This position is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, dependable, organized, and willing to learn. You don't need previous pipe lining experience—we’ll teach you the trade. The right person will take pride in doing quality work, keeping equipment organized, following instructions, and working as part of a team.

The work is hands-on and physical. Daily responsibilities may include setting up and breaking down equipment, preparing job sites, mixing materials, assisting with pipe lining installations and repairs, operating hand and power tools, and keeping trucks and equipment clean and organized. Work is performed both indoors and outdoors and in a variety of weather conditions.

We offer steady, full-time work and the opportunity to develop specialized skills and advance into higher-level technician and lead technician roles.

Duties

  • Assist experienced technicians with trenchless pipe lining and rehabilitation projects
  • Set up, operate, and break down equipment and tools at job sites
  • Prepare job sites, including cleaning, traffic control, and safety setup
  • Mix and handle materials used in pipe lining applications
  • Assist with CIPP installations, lateral patches, point repairs, and other pipe rehabilitation work
  • Operate basic hand tools, power tools, and job-site equipment safely
  • Monitor job progress and communicate issues or concerns to lead technicians or supervisors
  • Maintain trucks, equipment, tools, and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition
  • Follow all company safety procedures and properly use required PPE
  • Assist with documenting completed work, including photographs and project notes
  • Travel to various job sites within the assigned territory
  • Learn new equipment, techniques, and procedures through hands-on training
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by lead technicians or supervisors

Requirements

  • No previous pipe lining experience required—full training provided
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team
  • Ability to learn quickly, follow instructions, and take direction from supervisors
  • Good common sense, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
  • Mechanically inclined and comfortable learning how equipment and tools operate
  • Comfortable using basic hand tools and power tools; previous experience is a plus
  • Physically capable of performing hands-on work, including lifting, bending, carrying equipment, and working in various conditions
  • Willingness to work both indoors and outdoors in changing weather conditions
  • Willingness to travel to job sites as needed within the assigned territory
  • Professional attitude and a strong willingness to learn and grow within the company
