Circular Assistant Manager- Reselfridges

Job Introduction

Job Purpose:

The Reselfridges team is responsible for scaling Selfridges’ circular business models under the Reselfridges banner: Pre-Loved, Resell, Repair, Refill and Recycle. This role supports the development and day-to-day delivery of these services through partner management, stakeholder engagement, operational oversight, and performance analysis.

Reporting to the Circular Manager, you will sit within the Accessories Buying and Merchandising team, and work cross-functionally to drive the growth and efficiency of Selfridges’ circular strategy.

Circular Business Model Delivery:

• Own the day to day running of our circular services and product offerings.

• Partner with Buying teams within the business supporting the growth of circular sales across product categories.

• Manage day-to-day relationships with assigned external circular partners, monitoring operational and commercial performance, resolving issues, and identifying opportunities to improve and scale services.

• Support the development of new circular business models and propositions, assessing customer opportunity, commercial potential, operational requirements and scalability.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Onboard and support partners to implement and embed scalable, circular solutions across the organisation.

• Liaise across key operational teams, decision makers, and partners to ensure smooth execution of new and existing circular initiatives and promotion of always-on and pop-up Reselfridges moments.

• Conduct market research for new, innovative partners and technologies, leveraging best practice to apply these to support the scale of Reselfridges.

Performance, Processes and Measurement

• Assist with regular performance reporting for assigned Reselfridges services, analysing sales, transactions, traffic, conversion and customer metrics against agreed targets and providing clear insights, risks, and recommended actions to senior stakeholders.

• Map out new processes and creating training packs on new initiatives / ways of working.

• Project manage existing and new pilots / test and learn initiatives to explore new ways of working and grow transactions/sales, including tracking performance against success metrics.

A bit about you:

• You have knowledge of circular business models and sustainable business considerations and understand the complexities of the space.

• You can evidence project management, implementation, and execution.

• You can demonstrate collaborating with multiple stakeholders across business functions to implement new concepts and ideas.

• Ability to problem solve and work through innovative ideas with no established process and willingness to learn change management principles.

Skills:

• Commercially astute with good understanding of key retail and sales metrics. Data driven with strong proficiency in excel.

• Great written and verbal communicator with strong proficiency in power point.

• Customer focused with a background in delivering high quality, customer focussed services in a fast-paced and changing environment.

Desirable:

• Experience of supporting circular business model to scale and commercialise.

• Experience supporting the delivery or development of a Resell or Pre-Loved proposition, including the use of enabling technology.

• Understanding of reverse logistics and prior circular experience
