Seeking City Bus Driver/Transit Operator

The City of Oshkosh is on the hunt for a customer focused Transit Operator/Laborer to add to our GO Transit staff!

Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week)

Compensation: Starting at $28.04 with increases at 6 months and 1 year, and annually thereafter.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Operate a public bus following established routes with precision.

· Stick to schedules, ensuring passengers board, travel, and reach their destination on time.

· Maintain the highest safety standards, making every trip not just swift but secure.

· Perform light, routine upkeep of the transit vehicles and facilities – because a smoothly running bus makes for happy riders!

Applicants Must Have:

· Previous experience driving large trucks, preferably as a bus or transit driver.

· A valid WI CDL Class B with a Passenger Endorsement and no air brake restriction.

· A high school diploma or equivalent.
