Responsibilities

• Safely operate various delivery vehicles including box trucks, vans, and personal vehicles for courier services.
• Load, unload, and organize packages using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
• Follow prescribed routes while adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards.
• Deliver packages directly to customers’ locations with professionalism, ensuring positive customer interactions.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to maintain safety standards.
• Utilize mobile devices for route navigation, delivery confirmation, and communication with dispatch teams.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, shipment documentation, and safety records in compliance with company policies.

Experience

• Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is highly desirable.
• Proven delivery driver experience with a focus on route driving and customer service excellence.
• Experience operating manual transmission vehicles such as box trucks or commercial trucks preferred.
• Knowledge of manual handling practices, heavy lifting techniques, and safe lifting procedures required.
• Familiarity with material handling equipment like pallet jacks or similar tools is advantageous.
• Ability to adhere to traffic laws, DOT regulations, and workplace safety standards consistently.
• Strong communication skills with proficiency in using mobile devices for work-related tasks.

Pay: $52,134.80 - $62,786.00 per year
