City Manager

Overview

Responsibilities

• Provide strong executive leadership to all city departments, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and community priorities.
• Develop and implement comprehensive strategic plans that promote sustainable growth, operational efficiency, and community engagement.
• Oversee the management of the city’s budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility through detailed financial planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration among departments such as public safety, infrastructure, economic development, and community services to deliver seamless services.
• Manage relationships with elected officials, community stakeholders, business leaders, and regional partners to foster positive engagement and partnerships.
• Drive process improvements by analyzing operational data and implementing innovative solutions that enhance service delivery.
• Lead negotiations for contracts, grants, and partnerships that benefit the community while maintaining transparency and accountability.
• Promote team development by mentoring senior leadership staff and cultivating a motivated workforce committed to excellence in public service.
