Werk in Tech is looking for a Civil Engineering CAD Designer to join Omniform in Alblasserdam, the Netherlands.

As a Civil Engineering CAD Designer at Omniform, you will help shape the public space – from roads and drainage systems to green spaces and paving. With your attention to detail and knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D, you will translate technical information into clear and accurate designs that exceed our clients' expectations.

What will you do?

In this role, you will work on a wide range of projects for municipalities, provincial authorities, contractors and property developers . You will create 2D and 3D drawings based on survey data, scans, utility information and project specifications.

Your projects may include:

• Replacing sewer systems and underground cables and utilities;
• Preparing new residential areas for final construction and public use;
• Small-scale redesigns and reconstruction projects involving roads and public spaces.

You will monitor the quality and progress of your drawings and ensure they are completed and delivered on time. You will work closely with colleagues in a multidisciplinary and international project team and gradually develop towards independently managing your own portfolio of projects and assignments.

What do you bring?

• At least a vocational education qualification in Civil Engineering, GWW (Ground, Road and Water Engineering), or a comparable field ;
• Experience as a CAD designer or civil engineering designer is a plus;
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and preferably Civil 3D ;
• Good command Dutch and/or English , both written and spoken;
• Strong attention to detail, a sense of responsibility and a collaborative mindset;
• A solution-oriented approach and willingness to work according to the four-eyes principle when reviewing drawings;
• You enjoy working in an international and multidisciplinary team .

Relocation to the Netherlands

You will be joining an international team in Alblasserdam , where you will work on projects involving the design and development of public spaces and civil infrastructure across the Netherlands.

This is a local position based in Alblasserdam and is not a remote position. Candidates must be willing to relocate to the Netherlands .
