Civil and Structural Draftman

About the role

Join our dynamic Civil & Structural consultancy team in Kuala Lumpur and gain hands-on experience working on a diverse portfolio of high-rise, commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects.

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Civil & Structural Draughtsperson to prepare and coordinate high-quality civil and structural drawings. Working closely with our experienced engineers, you will be involved in design development, structural detailing, civil works, authority submissions and project documentation.

What you'll be doing

• Produce detailed civil and structural engineering drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software
• Collaborate with engineers to interpret design specifications and translate them into technical drawings
• Assist in the preparation of construction documents, including plans, elevations, sections, and details
• Conduct routine checks and quality control on drawings to ensure adherence to industry standards and client requirements
• Support the project team by providing drafting and design assistance as needed
• Ensure all drawings follow the company's drafting standards, project requirements and relevant Malaysian codes, guidelines and authority requirements.
• Manage assigned drawing works and meet project submission deadlines.

What we're looking for

• Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Building Technology, Drafting or a related field.
• Proficient in using CAD software, such as AutoCAD, to produce high-quality technical drawings
• Demonstrated experience in civil and structural engineering drafting, preferably in the construction industry
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently
• Able to read and interpret structural engineering drawings and technical information.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with the engineering team
