CIVIL AND STRUCTURAL ENGINEER (INFRASTRUCTURAL)

• Develop, prepare and/or review engineering plans and designs for infrastructure works, related certificate & documentation and working drawings complying to client’s requirement and standard design code
• Scope of design works inclusive but not limit to earthwork, sewerage reticulation, water reticulation, drainage, main drain, detention pond and etc.
• Pre-consultation with Authorities to ensure the infrastructure works are designed according to specifications/requirement by the respective authorities
• Ensure infrastructure works are carried out according to specifications/drawings
• Prepares design calculation reports and drawings for authorities’ submissions
• Liaise and follow up with authorities to obtain the approval on the submission plan.
• Liaise with client, client representative and all relevant authorities to resolve project issues
• Coordinating, monitoring and ensuring the work progress is on schedule
• Attend technical meeting/site meetings with consultant
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• At least 3 years of work experience in an engineering consultancy firm. Experience in large-scale civil and structural projects would be an added advantage
• Familiar with local authorities' requirement for design plans submission and approval
• Able to work independently & effectively in a team environment
