CIVIL & STRUCTURE ENGINEER (MANYAR, GRESIK)

About the role

AKR Land Development is seeking an experienced Civil & Structure Engineer to join our team in Manyar, Gresik, East Java. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in the design, planning, and execution of our civil and structural engineering projects. As a Civil & Structure Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality engineering solutions that meet project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. This role is integral to ensuring the successful completion of our construction and development initiatives, and you will work closely with architects, contractors, and project management teams to bring our projects to life.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed design and analysis of civil and structural systems for various construction projects, including buildings, infrastructure, and facilities
• Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and engineering plans using CAD software and other design tools
• Perform structural calculations and finite element analysis (FEA) to ensure designs meet safety codes and construction standards
• Conduct site inspections and surveys to assess ground conditions, foundations, and structural integrity
• Collaborate with architects and project stakeholders to develop feasible engineering solutions that align with project requirements and budgets
• Monitor construction activities on-site to ensure compliance with approved designs and technical specifications
• Identify and resolve technical issues and design challenges that arise during the construction phase
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and compliance records for regulatory and client submissions
• Ensure all engineering work complies with Indonesian building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to facilitate project coordination and timely delivery

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in civil and structural engineering design and project execution minimal on supervisor level
• Strong proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent) and structural analysis software (ETABS, SAP2000, or similar)
• In-depth knowledge of building codes, structural design principles, and construction methodologies
• Experience with foundation design, reinforced concrete structures, and steel construction
• Familiarity with Indonesian building regulations and standards (SNI - Standar Nasional Indonesia)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Strong communication skills in both Indonesian and English (written and verbal)
• Project management experience and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices in construction
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification or equivalent is preferred
• Gresik residences will be prioritized
