Role Overview -

We are looking for skilled CAD Draughtsman to support our High-Speed Rail project team. The role involves preparing accurate technical drawings, layouts, and detailed CAD documentation for civil and structural works in line with project standards and engineering requirements.

Key Responsibilities -

• Prepare 2D and 3D CAD drawings for civil, structural, and alignment components of high-speed rail infrastructure.
• Convert engineering sketches, specifications, and calculations into detailed technical drawings.
• Ensure adherence to project standards, drafting guidelines, and CAD protocols.
• Perform updates and revisions based on engineer/stakeholder feedback.
• Maintain drawing accuracy, proper layer management, and version control.
• Coordinate with engineers, BIM teams, and interdisciplinary design groups.
• Assist in extraction of quantities, layouts, cross-sections, and detailing as needed.
• Support preparation of construction drawings, shop drawings, and as-built documentation.
• Ensure timely completion of drafting tasks as per project timelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering
• 1 to 3 years of drafting experience in infrastructure or transportation projects.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D essential; 3D optional).
• Good understanding of civil/structural drawing standards and detailing.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of layer management, scaling, plotting, and CAD standards.
• Strong coordination, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in railway, metro, or large infrastructure projects.
• Exposure to MicroStation, Civil 3D, or similar design tools.
• Familiarity with drafting standards used in EPC/consulting environments.
