Job Overview

We are hiring an experienced Civil Construction Manager to lead field operations on a large-scale construction project in Texas.

This position is best suited for a Civil Superintendent, Heavy Civil Superintendent, or Construction Manager with experience leading major civil, infrastructure, or large-scale site development projects.

You will be responsible for field operations, subcontractors, safety, quality, manpower, equipment, productivity, and schedule performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily civil construction activities
• Manage subcontractors, crews, inspectors, and field personnel
• Monitor project schedule, manpower, productivity, materials, and equipment
• Oversee grading, utilities, concrete, foundations, pile work, and related civil construction
• Coordinate site logistics and mobilization
• Perform quality inspections and address deficiencies
• Enforce OSHA and project safety requirements
• Identify and resolve field issues
• Communicate project status and risks to leadership
• Maintain schedule and productivity expectations

Requirements

• 7+ years of heavy civil construction experience
• 3+ years in a Superintendent, Construction Manager, or similar leadership role
• Large-scale infrastructure or complex civil project experience
• Strong knowledge of civil construction methods and specifications
• Experience with grading, utilities, concrete, foundations, piles, highways, or high-tech infrastructure
• Strong subcontractor management and field leadership skills
• Ability to read construction plans and specifications
• Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or Trimble ProjectSight experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred

Compensation & Benefits

• $100,000–$140,000 base salary
