Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Civil Construction Manager to lead construction execution and site operations for our projects in Dubai.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing construction activities from execution through completion, while controlling programme, manpower, productivity, quality, safety, subcontractors and site coordination.

We are looking for a strong construction leader who can take ownership of site performance, coordinate multiple stakeholders and deliver projects safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage overall civil construction activities and site execution.
• Plan, organize and control construction activities in accordance with project programmes.
• Manage construction teams, engineers, supervisors, foremen and site manpower.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Consultants, Clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor project progress against approved programmes and milestones.
• Manage manpower, equipment, materials and construction resources.
• Monitor productivity and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, method statements and work procedures.
• Ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings and project requirements.
• Coordinate civil, architectural, MEP and other construction activities.
• Manage subcontractor performance and resolve site issues.
• Ensure compliance with quality requirements and project specifications.
• Lead site coordination meetings and monitor action items.
• Support planning, procurement, commercial and project-control teams.
• Identify construction risks, delays and potential programme impacts.
• Develop and implement recovery plans where required.
• Ensure strict compliance with project HSE requirements.
• Provide regular progress and performance reports to senior management.
• Support project completion, snagging and handover.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of construction experience, including significant construction management responsibility.
• Strong building construction/project execution experience.
• UAE/GCC construction experience is preferred.
• Proven experience managing large site teams and subcontractors.
• Strong knowledge of construction planning and site operations.
• Excellent leadership and decision-making skills.
• Strong understanding of quality, HSE and construction coordination.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under project pressure.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and construction/project management systems.

Preferred Candidate

Preference will be given to candidates with proven experience managing large-scale building construction projects in the UAE, with demonstrated responsibility for programme, manpower, subcontractors, quality, HSE and project delivery.
