HeaderDuties

• Lay and install underground pipelines such as sanitary sewers, stormwater systems, and water supply lines following detailed construction plans and blueprint specifications
• Use pipe lasers and other precision tools to ensure proper alignment and elevation of pipelines during installation
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to guide installation processes
• Conduct utility locating to identify existing underground utilities before trenching or excavation begins
• Perform construction trenching safely while adhering to federal construction safety regulations and safety protocol standards

HeaderRequirements

• Skilled in pipe installation techniques for underground utilities including sewer lines, water systems, and stormwater drainage
• Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret technical drawings for precise pipeline placement
• Knowledge of utility locating methods to prevent damage to existing underground infrastructure
• Familiarity with construction trenching procedures and safety regulations specific to federal construction projects
• Understanding of wastewater systems, sanitary drainage systems, sanitary sewers, stormwater systems, and underground utilities installation projects
• Strong adherence to safety protocols including OSHA standards related to heavy equipment operation and utility trenching
