About the Opportunity

MW Talent is partnering with an established, growing engineering firm seeking Civil Engineers with 3+ years of hands-on land development and site design experience . This opportunity involves designing large-scale commercial, industrial, residential, and data center developments, including site grading, stormwater management, underground utilities, and infrastructure using AutoCAD Civil 3D. Previous data center or mission critical experience is NOT required. Engineers with residential, commercial, industrial, or other land development experience are encouraged to apply. What You'll Do

• Prepare civil site development plans and construction drawings for large-scale commercial, industrial, residential, and mission critical projects.
• Design site grading, stormwater drainage, water distribution, sanitary sewer, and underground utility infrastructure.
• Develop site layouts, surface models, utility layouts, and supporting engineering calculations using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, permit applications, and construction documentation.
• Analyze existing site conditions, development requirements, and infrastructure constraints to support project planning and design.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, consultants, and other project stakeholders throughout the design process.
• Participate in client meetings and multidisciplinary project discussions, providing technical input and recommendations.
• Review drawings and technical deliverables for accuracy, quality, and consistency.
• Manage assigned design tasks to meet project schedules, scope, and quality expectations.
• Contribute to the design of complex, multi-phase developments and infrastructure systems.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• 3+ years of professional experience in land development or civil site design.
• Hands-on experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D , including preparation of site development plans and construction drawings.
• Experience with grading, stormwater management, drainage, and site infrastructure design.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain within six months; progression toward PE licensure preferred.
• Understanding of civil engineering design principles, permitting requirements, and construction documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients.

Experience That Would Be a Plus

• Large-scale commercial, industrial, residential, or multi-phase site development projects.
• Water and sanitary sewer plan and profile design.
• Civil 3D surface modeling and underground utility layouts.
• Duct bank or complex underground utility infrastructure design.
• Data center or mission critical site development experience (not required).
• Experience coordinating with local permitting authorities and reviewing agencies.

Work Schedule

This is a fully on-site position based in one of the listed office locations.

• Monday–Thursday: 7:30 AM–5:30 PM
• Friday: 7:30 AM–11:30 AM
