SUMMARY: A leading construction company in Gauteng is looking for a qualified Civil Engineer to join their team.

The successful candidate will be involved in site-based civil engineering projects, assisting with the planning, coordination, supervision, and execution of construction activities while ensuring quality, safety, and project deadlines are met.

POSITION INFO: Responsibilities: Design and coordinate civil engineering services, including road infrastructure, stormwater and related municipal services. Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications and documentation for contractor tender and construction purposes. Compile Outline Services Reports and Stormwater Management Reports for submission and approval by municipalities. Assist with the planning, supervision and management of civil engineering construction projects. Conduct regular site inspections, quality control checks and progress monitoring to ensure construction complies with approved drawings, specifications and standards. Liaise with contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, including issuing design instructions and resolving technical queries on site. Coordinate civil engineering designs with other professional disciplines to ensure successful project integration. Requirements: BEng or BTech in Civil Engineering. 4 - 6 years relevant experience. Proficiency in Civil 3D as well as experience with SSA or similar design software.
