CIVIL ENGINEER

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Plan and design construction projects such as buildings, roads, bridges, drainage systems, and other infrastructure works.
2. Review technical drawings and project specifications.
3. Supervise site activities and ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and safety standards.
4. Monitor project schedule and ensure timely completion.
5. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and clients.
6. Prepare progress reports and site documentation.
7. Control project costs and ensure expenses stay within budget.
8. Ensure compliance with Malaysian construction regulations and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) is an advantage.
• 0–5 years of working experience (depending on position level).
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other engineering software.
• Good communication and leadership skills.

Additional Advantages

• Experienced in water treatment plant and willing to reside in rural is preferable
• Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards.
• Possess a valid driving license and willing to work on-site.
