Civil Engineer

Responsible to oversee planning, design, execution and completion of civil construction projects across campus. Expertise in managing construction projects within university or healthcare facility environments is preferrred.

Role & responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management for civil construction projects including new buildings, renovations, infrastructure upgrades and campus development initiatives.
• Implemention of project plans, time lines and budgets resource allocation.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors and stakeholders for ongoing works.
• Prepare detailed estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ) and cost-benefit analyses for proposed projects
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with contractors, suppliers and service providers
• Implement and enforce safety protocols, risk mitigation measures, and occupational health standards
• Prepare financial reports, budget forecasts and expenditure analyses for university administration
• Conduct regular project review meetings and provide updates
• Prior work experience in any Civil Projects construction company / University / Educational institutions or hospital/healthcare facilities is preferred.
