About the role

We are seeking a Civil Engineer to join ADSIA LOGISTICS INC. in Cebu, Central Visayas. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the design, planning, and oversight of civil and structural engineering projects. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our infrastructure and construction initiatives meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. Your expertise will directly contribute to the success of our logistics operations and the development of robust facilities that support our business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop civil engineering plans and specifications for logistics facilities, warehouses, and related infrastructure projects
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate project requirements and environmental considerations
• Prepare detailed technical drawings, blueprints, and construction documents using industry-standard software and methodologies
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and project teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution
• Perform structural analysis and calculations to validate design integrity and safety compliance
• Monitor construction progress and conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to design specifications and safety standards
• Identify and resolve technical issues that arise during the construction phase
• Ensure all projects comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and environmental standards
• Prepare project reports, cost estimates, and recommendations for project stakeholders
• Collaborate with other departments to optimise facility layouts and operational efficiency

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution
• Valid Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent professional certification in your jurisdiction
• Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in civil or structural engineering
• Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
• Proficiency in civil engineering design software such as AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, or similar applications
• Excellent technical drawing and blueprint interpretation skills
• Sound understanding of structural analysis, construction materials, and project management principles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Experience in logistics, warehouse, or industrial facility design is highly desirable
• Knowledge of project management software and tools is preferred
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
