Civil Engineer

About the role

Assist in the planning, implementation, and supervision of construction projects. Conduct regular site inspections and monitor project progress to ensure construction activities are performed according to approved plans, specifications, and schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, implementation, and supervision of construction projects
• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor project progress
• Ensure construction activities are performed according to approved plans, specifications, and schedules
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, and other project personnel
• Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship
• Check measurements, quantities, and project accomplishments
• Assist in quantity take-off, material estimation, and costing
• Review construction plans, drawings, and technical documents
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports, site reports, and other project documentation
• Monitor project schedules and identify delays or construction issues
• Perform other duties related to construction, project management, estimating, and bidding as assigned by management.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site operations
• Able to read and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications
• Proficient in MS Office
• Must know how to drive
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Organized, responsible, and detail-oriented
• Able to work independently and with a team
• Willing to work on-site and under varying project conditions
• Willing to conduct site visits and travel to project locations
