QAQC Engineer

Qualifications:

1. Must possess valid PRC license and QA/QC certification from recognized institution
2. Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and construction quality management.
3. Willing to be assigned at Batangas City.

Duties and responsibilities:

1. Ensures submittals are approved and signed for construction and conducts random checking of materials, plans and methodology if it complies with the approved submittals and measuring tools and equipment are calibrated and properly in working condition.
2. Prepares daily progress inspection report, handover IR, monthly QA report prior to QA Officer.
3. Conducts in-process inspection and witness pre-functional testing.
4. Monitors daily activities and compliance to Quality process.
5. Hold-point release of work request, verifies compliance of the work activity from the approved plans and specification and ensures all works are completed prior to any inspection being undertaken.
6. Ensures that all quality control documentations are compiled and completed for hand over to QA Officer.
7. Ensures the quality records, acceptance certificates, civil works completion certificates and the documentation for buildings/areas are prepared and collated in accordance with project requirements.
8. Provides Quality Assurance inputs for incorporation in project reports.
9. Monitors the status of the punch list and ensures closed-out prior to MCC/Client turnover inspection.
10. Releases issued Non-Conformance Report and verified NCR issued conforms with the NCR procedure and validates close out once remedial actions are taken.
11. Reports administratively to PM/PIC and reports functionality to QA officer.
12. Develop, apply and maintain quality requirements and standards of the project.
13. Promote and execute quality standards, inspection processes, test methodology, quality plans, documents and reports.
14. Monitor the implementation of approved inspection and test plans and projects quality plan by construction contractors and drawing production.
15. Monitor and report on the status of implementation of the Construction Quality Management System and its effectiveness. Identifying and recording quality problems and opportunities for improvement and initiating or recommending solution.
