Civil Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and interpret engineering plans, drawings, specifications, and quantity estimates for projects.
• Supervise and monitor construction activities and site development.
• Ensure that construction activities are carried out in accordance with approved plans, technical specifications, applicable standards, and project requirements.
• Conduct site inspections and verify actual field conditions, dimensions, elevations, and quantities.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, surveyors, equipment operators, and other project stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with approved schedules and work programs.
• Check and validate work accomplishments, quantities, and materials used for project billing and progress reports.
• Assist in preparing cost estimates, material take-offs, and construction schedules.
• Ensure proper implementation of safety, environmental, and housekeeping requirements at the project site.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on project progress, accomplishments, issues, and recommendations.
• Maintain proper documentation of drawings, inspection reports, site instructions, and other project records.
• Assist in project planning, resource allocation, and coordination of manpower, materials, and equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Preferably a Licensed Civil Engineer (RCE).
• With experience in horizontal construction works, preferably in roads, drainage, earthworks, site development, or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledgeable in construction methods, quantity surveying, project monitoring, and quality control.
