About the role

WRN Health Incorporated is seeking a dedicated and experienced Civil Engineer to join our growing team in Davao City, Davao del Sur. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the design, planning, and supervision of civil and structural engineering projects. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all projects meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. This role is integral to our company's mission to deliver innovative healthcare infrastructure solutions and will contribute significantly to the development and expansion of our facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Design and plan civil and structural engineering projects, including site surveys, feasibility studies, and technical drawings
• Conduct structural analysis and calculations to ensure projects comply with building codes and safety standards
• Oversee construction activities on-site, including quality control, progress monitoring, and safety inspections
• Prepare detailed project documentation, specifications, and cost estimates for tender processes
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance assessments of existing structures
• Ensure compliance with local, regional, and national building regulations and environmental standards
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions during the construction and operational phases
• Prepare reports and present findings to project managers and senior management
• Maintain comprehensive project records and documentation

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited institution
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure or equivalent qualification, with current registration in the Philippines
• Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in civil and structural engineering design and construction management
• Strong knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and relevant Philippine engineering regulations
• Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, SAP2000, ETABS, or similar structural analysis tools
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
• Experience in healthcare facility design or construction is highly desirable
• Knowledge of sustainable building practices and green engineering principles is preferred
• Willingness to travel
