Civil Engineer

About the role

The Civil Engineer is responsible for planning, supervising, and managing civil construction and infrastructure projects. The role ensures that projects are completed according to approved plans, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review engineering plans, drawings, specifications, and estimates.
• Conduct site inspections, measurements, and assessments.
• Supervise construction and civil works to ensure compliance with approved plans.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, project managers, architects, and other engineers.
• Monitor project progress, materials, manpower, quality, and timelines.
• Ensure that construction activities comply with applicable building codes, engineering standards, and safety requirements.
• Prepare project reports, progress updates, documentation, and accomplishment reports.
• Check quantities, materials, and work quality delivered on site.
• Identify construction issues and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
• Assist in project costing, quantity take-offs, and preparation of estimates.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC) preferred/required depending on project requirements.
• Experience in construction, project supervision, or site engineering is an advantage.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and engineering standards.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; knowledge of other engineering software is an advantage.
• Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willing to conduct site visits and work on project locations as required.
